# Free Primatte Studio
Boris FX and the VEGAS team have partnered to bring you a complimentary license to Primatte studio with your VEGAS Pro 21.
Congratulations on your purchase of VEGAS Pro 21 purchase! As part of your purchase, you’re receiving a complimentary license for Continuum Primatte Studio. This award-winning chroma keying tool is a plugin that adds a tremendous amount of functionality to VEGAS Pro 21 and needs to be separately installed.

### Installation Instructions:
Please watch the installation video for detailed instructions on downloading and licensing Boris FX Continuum products.
1\. Locate your activation key from your VEGAS Pro 21 purchase email and enter it into this form
2\. After registering, you will begin automatically downloading the installer and you'll also receive a link to the installer file via email. (Note: it can take up to 30 minutes to receive the email)
3\. Download the installer file and double click to start the installation
4\. Read through the user agreement and accept the terms and conditions
5\. Fill out the “in-app” installer registration form or feel free skip this since you have already registered
6.Select “activate your license now” and enter your activation key (Note: This will require an active internet connection)
7\. Once activated you have the choice to “remove all unlicensed plugins” or “leave all plugins installed.” [Learn more](https://borisfx.com/partner/vegas20primatte/#link)
8\. Once installed your effects will be available in the video effects tab in VEGAS Pro 21
## FAQs
**Q. I purchased VEGAS Pro 21 and saw I got Boris FX plugins. Is this true?**
Yes! With every purchase of VEGAS Pro 21 you are entitled to receive a license to Continuum Primatte Studio.
**Q. How do I get my Boris FX plugins?**
When you purchased VEGAS Pro 21 you received an email from Magix which contained a Continuum Primatte Studio activation key. Please fill out the form above and enter your key to activate it prior to installation.
**Q. Ok, I entered my Continuum Primatte Studio activation key, now what?**
After entering your key, the installer will auto doanload to your desktop. As a backup, you will also receive an email with installation instructions and a link for the correct Continuum installer.
**Q. All my plugins have a watermark on them. How do I fix this?**
Continuum is a suite of over 250 plugins. Your license for VEGAS Pro 21 entitles you to license a small portion of our plugins. Upon installation, you are given the option to either “show all plugins” or “show licensed plugins”. Choose “show all plugins” to see everything Continuum has to offer, but be aware all unlicensed plugins will feature a watermark. If you choose to “show licensed plugins,” only the plugins you have licensed will be shown in the VEGAS video effects tab.
**Q. I had some older Boris FX plugins that disappeared. What happened?**
Only one version of Boris FX plugins can be installed at any one time. So, if you have VEGAS Pro 19 or 20 with legacy Continuum plugins, these will be replaced with the newer versions that ship with VEGAS 21. We highly recommend uninstalling any existing Boris FX plugins previously installed on your system to avoid problems. To do this, right-click the Start button and click the Control Panel. Go to Programs and Features (if your Control Panel is in Category view, go to Uninstall a Program). Find Boris FX Continuum, click to select it, and then click Uninstall.
However, if you want to keep your older Boris FX plugins, do not install these current products as they will overwrite any older plugins.
**Q. I love the Boris FX plugins for VEGAS Post 21! Can I upgrade to the full suite?**
Yes! VEGAS Pro 21 owners can upgrade to the full suite of Continuum plugins at the discounted price of $395.00. Please contact sales for more information.
**Q. Can I have a trial of Continuum for VEGAS Pro 21?**
Yes, we do offer a free 30 day watermarked trial of Continuum for VEGAS Pro 21. We do not offer watermark-free trials of Continuum.
