In this exercise we take a much closer look at just how to create custom lens flares, and how to track elements in the scene with Mocha so the flare follows the camera movement. We start by checking out various lens flare presets. Then we jump into the Flare Designer. To create a more clean looking scene, we discuss how to use Warp Stabilizer VFX to stabilize the scene before we add our flares. We go into working in Mocha as we learn about the Planar Surface, the Planar Grid, linking track data, and even how to mask elements so we can track an area that is obstructed. Finally we discuss how to adjust flare properties and warm up our scene using LumetriColor.
