Lesson 7: Using Blur Effects

This exercise focuses on the blur and sharpen effects inside Sapphire. We start with a transition built using S_RackDefocus. As we learn about that effect we also cover how to make sure you're taking advantage of the hardware acceleration, and how to customize the look with lens settings and bokeh shapes. Then it's time to smooth skin by combining the S_Beauty effect and Mocha. Keeping things smooth, then we learn how to make gradients even more smooth using S_Deband. Next we check out how to create a soft and silky look in a scene without losing detail with S_EdgeAwareBlur. To take things to the next level, then we look at how to create, browse and apply tilt and shift presets using S_Effect. Then we stylize video using S_FreeLens, and cover how to add a light leak effect using the presets in S_Effect. We dive deeper into the S_LightLeak effect. And finally, we finish up this exercise with a custom transition built using S_BlurMoCurves.
