Q. What host applications does Particle Illusion support?
A. Particle Illusion supports the current versions of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Magix VEGAS Pro (OFX), Davinci Resolve (OFX), and The Foundry’s Nuke (OFX).
Q. I have an older version of a support host application installed. Will Particle Illusion work?
A. We cannot support all older versions of host applications. We suggest you download and install and try it out, but we can only officially test and support the current shipping versions of support host applications. If you run into issues, we encourage you to use the free standalone version of Particle Illusion.
Q. I have an older version of Continuum installed. Am I safe to install Particle Illusion?
A. Particle Illusion is part of the Continuum suite of VFX plugins, and you can only have one version of Continuum installed at a time. So if you have Continuum 2021.5 or prior installed, it will be erased and replaced with Particle Illusion 2022.
